The brand’s essence
Mandarin oil is grounded in the official Mandarin-C Brightening formula with 1.6% mandarin peel oil. The pale orange sherbet swatch represents the melting balm texture.
Banila Co was founded in Korea in 2006 according to its official story. It began by considering makeup and skincare together. Removing colour easily at the end of the day belonged to the same design question as applying it beautifully. Cleansing and makeup therefore developed as complementary areas.
Clean It Zero became the most recognisable format. A solid balm turning into oil through massage and a milky texture with water changed the cleansing experience. Tea-Tree EX and Mandarin-C later explored different ingredient focuses beside Original.
Covericious continued the complexion side. Today’s “Bounce Back Makeup” narrative connects colour, removal and renewed care in one cycle. The story concerns a whole before-and-after makeup experience expressed through one brand language, beyond a popular balm alone.
