Propolis
Propolis is grounded in the official Propolis Energy Active Ampule and Treatment Essence ingredients. The honey-gold gel interprets its bee-derived origin and serum consistency.
Origins and history
CNP Laboratory’s cosmetics company was established in March 2000. Its name comes from the dermatology founders’ initials. The idea was to bring specialist skincare experience into home products. Questions from dermatology informed ingredient selection and daily feel, connecting professional knowledge with consumer habits.
The propolis ampoule introduced in 2005 became a lasting product. A concentrated serum feel with an easily spreading texture helped establish the ampoule format. Later creams, toners and lip care explored the same material in other applications.
On 22 October 2014, LG H&H announced an agreement to acquire 86% of CNP, an important step toward a wider research and distribution network. A December 2023 release records more than 6.5 million propolis ampoules sold over the preceding seven years. Specialist origins thus developed into an enduring product family.
