Retinal
The essence draws on retinal identified by the manufacturer in the VITALIFT-A family. The pale-yellow cream swatch interprets this night-care texture.
Origins and history
Dr.Different’s origins lie in dermatologist Lee Dong-won’s clinical and product-development experience. He taught dermatology at medical school from 1994 to 2001, helped establish CNP Cosmetics in 2001 and led it from 2003 to 2017. Dareun Cosmetics and Dr.Different, established in 2018, opened a new chapter in that professional journey.
The brand describes fifteen skin specialists coming together as its starting point. Product development considered concentration, pH and formulation alongside ingredient choice. The retinal-based Vitalift family became one tangible expression of that approach.
The portfolio subsequently emphasized vitamin C, vitamin E and coenzyme Q10 under CEQ, alongside ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids in moisturizing care. Its story therefore centers on transferring professional experience into cosmetic formulation, rather than on a single fashionable ingredient.
