Retinol
Retinol is grounded in the official Doubletinol day-and-night cream pair. The pale yellow swatch represents this range’s creamy care approach.
Origins and history
ISA KNOX launched in 1995 according to LG H&H’s official report. Research data on Korean women’s skin informed its functional-cosmetics approach. This created an identity focused on the research question behind a formula, with complexion makeup and sun care later joining skincare.
Wrinkle Decline gained functional-cosmetic recognition in Korea in 2001. Design also advanced alongside research: Easy Touch Lipstick received the World Packaging Organisation’s 2005 WorldStar award. The way a product is held and applied joined formulation in the development story.
Nox Lab, introduced in 2010, carried later development. Doubletinol creams in 2025 offered separate day and night textures; Vitamin C 42% Mela-off Balm followed in June 2026. New ingredients and formats thus continued a development line spanning decades.
