Alpine berries
The essence comes from Alpine Berry Watery Cream’s berry complex, phytosterols and squalane cream base. The pale cream swatch represents its soft, nourishing moisture texture.
Origins and history
Primera draws on Amorepacific’s plant and seed research. Seed studies beginning in 1986 gave its exploration of materials a scientific foundation. Botanical collections such as Alpine Berry connected this knowledge with moisture and barrier care, placing the transformation of natural sources into useful textures at the centre.
The narrative expanded from natural materials to designing ingredients and product formats together. Today’s PRMR “mixology” approach considers vitamin C with retinol, oil with foam, or skincare with colour cosmetics within the same development question. It works with different formula structures rather than reducing complex needs to one ingredient.
The company’s third-quarter 2024 report records entry into a new mask category with Vitatinol Serum Mega-Shot Gel Mask. This provides a concrete example of moving a serum idea into another format. Primera’s story thus connects seed-research heritage with a wider language of ingredient and texture combinations.
